How To Interpret The Laboratory Test Results?

I have had blood work in the past month that has shown hypercalcemia, low vitamin D levels. I also had a chest X-ray, as i ve been having chest aches/pains for several months. The X-ray showed borderline hyperinflation. I have never smoked a day in my life or have I ever had asthma. What s going on?

Hi,

Your clinical correlation is needed as per mentioned history.

Your hyperinflation can be evaluated further with spirometry investigations. It will help in rule out obstructive pulmonary disease if present.

Kindly mention any history of dyspnea, cough etc. if present.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
