How To Induce Periods?

I had an abortion 7 weeks ago ,but still i dont get my period. I have started Medroxyprogesterone acetate for 3 days 10 pills, but still I do not get my period after one week. so please give me advice what i have to do now. I want to know that due to such reason my weight will increase?

hello,
i can understand your concern.
periods do get irregular after an abortion.
kindly get an ultrasound abdomen done to look for any retained products of conception. if present they have to be removed using dilatation and curettage.
if the ultrasound is normal do not worry that you haven't got your periods yet. it can sometimes take longer time to get periods after an abortion.
do not take any medication for now. wait for two to three weeks.
you should get your periods by then.
in case you donot get your periods even after that i would suggest an examination with your gynecologist. hormonal pills such as norethisterone can be taken based on the findings if necessary.
