Hi,

Both Duphaston and Norethisterone can be used to induce periods, but the dosage and duration of treatment may vary depending on your specific situation. Duphaston contains dydrogesterone and is a type of progesterone hormone. It is usually prescribed for women with irregular periods due to hormonal imbalances.

The usual dosage of Duphaston for inducing periods is 10mg twice a day for 5-7 days, followed by a break of 3-4 days. Menstrual bleeding usually occurs within 2-3 days after stopping the medication. Norethisterone is also a synthetic progesterone hormone and is commonly used to delay periods, but it can also be used to induce periods. The usual dosage of Norethisterone for inducing periods is 5mg three times a day for 5-10 days.

Menstrual bleeding usually occurs 2-3 days after stopping the medication. It is important to note that both Duphaston and Norethisterone should not be used during pregnancy, and may have side effects such as nausea, headaches, and mood changes. It is best to consult with your doctor about the appropriate medication and dosage for your specific situation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
