Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your semen analysis findings indicate decreased sperm motility. Motility of sperms should be at least 55%.

Besides clinical correlation, you may need investigations like routine hemogram, random blood sugar, ultrasound of scrotum. Hormone assay can also be done after evaluation.

It is important to assess any surgical reason for low motility. You should take nutritious diet and do excercise. Avoid tight undergarments, alcohol and cigarettes.

Sperm count is normal. Normally, it should be at least 20 millions/mL. If findings persist then you may need assisted fertilization techniques like IUI.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Indu Kumar
