How To Improve Energy Levels?

Hi I am 40 years old and the mother of 2 boys. I am vegetarian and have always been low on energy compared to all my friends. I have noticed that during the week prior to that time of the month...my energy levels drop drastically. I am not on any medication and healthy otherwise. What can I do to improve on the energy levels? I have also been experiencing an increased rate of premature greying and hair loss over the last year. Any advice?

Premature greying and hair loss could be due to hormonal changes in the body or increased stress. Are you prone to anxiety or stress? Here are some tips to boost your energy levels:

First of all, try to reduce stress levels by meditating for some time everyday, do some deep breathing exercise or engage in an activity that you enjoy regularly.

Take out some time for yourself and relax. Sleep well at night as sleep deprivation also causes low energy levels.

Take a short nap in the afternoon to recharge yourself and eat a healthy well-balanced diet.

Make sure you have a good breakfast to boost your energy levels.

Prefer small frequent meals instead of 3 large meals to stay energetic throughout the day.

Include fruits, vegetables as salads, sprouts in your daily diet for vitamins and minerals and keep your body well-hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids.

If you stay mostly indoors, spend some time outdoors in fresh air. Stay active and exercise by brisk walking in fresh air as much as possible.

Hope these tips will help improve your energy levels and stamina.
