How To Identify Whether I Have Stones In My Gall Bladder?

hey, im 17, underweight, and diagnosed with ibs, this came around when i thought i was having biliary colic, this was in february, ever since then i have got hypochondria and talk to a therapist every week. i also have gilberts disease.

these last few days i havin started diverting my attention back to my gallbladder and im worried to eat incase i have gallstones or chronic cholecystitis. i dont know whether im aching because theres something wrong with me, or whether ive been poking and performing murphys sign on myself that much i have hurt myself.

i have one or two questions, is it possible that someone like me has any gallbladder problems such as stones of cholecystitis? and is biliary colic sort of pain ever noticed in ibs?

please, i need this to end my suffering..

Yes it may be seen in young people as well.
so you should do at least ultrasound or CT scan to evaluate it more accurately. You need to change your dietary habits first. Need to avoid fried food, carbonated drinks, coffee, alcohol and spicy food. You should eat more milk products, vegetables and boiled food. If there is no improvement on lifestyle or dietary changes, then surgery is recommended.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
