I stand all the time at work for hours at a time. the last few days I have been having a sharp pain in my groin area that stops me in my tracts when walking, for a few seconds, and then there is a weird feeling in my leg that is kind of a light throb on the inside part of my right thigh from the groin to my knee

Hello,
Often groin pain is referred pain from the hip. It would be a good idea for you to see a doctor for an exam. They can make sure there is nothing going on with the groin and also check your hip for arthritis and other problems.
