How To Heal Injury Mediated Ankle Sprain?

i have sprained my ankle 4 days a go in basketball after jumping and land wrong. I talked to my coach and he said to keep doing what you are doing (ice and elevation) and take iburprofen for 3 days to aid the healing. now i just finished taking it for 3 days. When ever i elevate my foot i get a tingling feeling in the heel of my foot and my foot kind of feels cold, what should i do? Also i dont no how long to elevate my leg.

DIAGNOSIS: Talo fibular ligament sprain of ankle

TREATMENT:
1) Complete rest to ankle
2) Ankle binder to be applied (remove only while taking bath and while sleeping )
3) cold packs to be continued
4) analgesics and enzymes

Please do visit a nearest orthopaedician to first of all evaluate as to how bad a sprain it is.

IT may take as long as 3 weeks for you to feel better.
