How To Heal Exposed Head Wound?
My husband was recently in a car accident and received 20 staples on top of his head along with a fractured neck. The staples were taken out in a timely manner, two days after he hit his head of the freezer door and it seemed to open the scab a little. He woke up this morning, ran his hands through his hair and pulled out a chunk of hair that had part of his scalp on it. I looks at the wound and it was bleeding a I could also see fatty tissue. This has me worried.

It could possible be that the wound has re-opened. This is not serious but should be seen by a doctor in case it needs re-suturing.
I suggest you go to the ED for this.
