Hello,

Kenalog is a long acting steroid long term use of steroid might be associated with several problems. chronic spongiotic dermatitis has to be managed properly in consultation with a dermatologist. she might need use of some good moisturisers and some creams based on her status. With proper management she should do well, do consult a dermatologist.
