How To Get The Natural Curve Of Smile Back Post Injury?

My 4yr old fell on the coffee table and hit her left cheek 1yr ago and it has made her natural curve from her smile go straight across her face and its very obvious. We had an xray done right after the incident and they said everything was ok. What could this be and who do we need to take her to to get this fixed. Her pediatrician said that it will go away on its own, but I don t it will.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

In most cases, it will improve with time but some deviation persists. Plastic surgery will be an option to restore the natural facies. Consult a plastic surgeon and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
