General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Welts are usually related to an allergic reaction.
I suggest to continue using Clobetosol cream for local application.
I also suggest using an antihistamine such as Loratadine 10 mg to prevent the itching.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
