someone kissed me and i believe gave me an infection. i keep mucus in my nasal passage and in my throat. my throat stays sore and scratchy. i have tried nose sprays and over the counter medication plus tea and honey also cough drops. what should i do next i have no insurance but i can go to my local health dept

Dear kissing may transform herpes, syphilis, gingivitis, infectious mononucleosis etc... But streptococcus or viral infections may possible. Just give throte swab culture. Use salt water gargle. Tab azithromycin500 for 3days. Still symptoms persisten you need to consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
