How To Get Rid Of Red Rash On Hips After Hysterectomy?

I had a hysterectomy two weeks ago, and ever since the Procedure I have had a rash on the upper part of my butt by my hips. It s just tiny raised red bumps. I thought it would Go away, but it hasn t. It hasn t changed since the surgery, I ve tried lotion but that didn t help

Hi

You seem to have developed an allergic reaction over the skin.
Such an allergic reaction after a surgery can develop due to usage of skin cleansers like spirit and betadine prior to the surgery.
You should avoid application of any creams or oils over the affected areas .
Use a topical steroid cream like cortisone over the affected areas twice a day .
Take some oral antihistamine like claritin for the associated itching .
Wear cotton clothes so as to prevent any further irritation.
