Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain inflamed hair bumps can be due to inflammation of the hair follicles leading to formation of painful and itchy bumps over the scalp..
They can occur due to bacterial infection leading to Folliculitis...

It can also be due to allergic reaction to some unknown alllergens causing contact dermatitis..

I would suggest you to consult a Trichologist or a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can do a clinical examination and also do a microscopic examination of the scrapings from the bumps and blood test to confirm the cause and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be given a course of antibiotics to be taken orally along with topical application of steroid and antibiotic ointments..
Keep the scalp dry and clean and avoid moisture accumulation..
Avoid scratching the bumps and it they itch you can take Levocetrizine to control itching..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
