How To Get Rid Of Frequent Vomiting After Having Meal?
For about 4 days every time i eat, a little later i vomit. fry heaves at first then vomit. After vomiting the feeling of almost vomiting remains. I have pooped regularly and have tried pepto. I don't feel sick, but my stomache feels very tight almost like I am constantly pushing.
The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to ether GERD or Esophageal spasm.
Management consists of: 1. Dietary modification- avoid consuming irritating substances such as acidic & rich foods, caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol. 2. Lifestyle modification- like weight reduction, sleeping on the left side, or with upper body raised. 3. Medical management- Proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole, Pantoprazole (which prevent acid formation in stomach)+ Domperidone preparations (strengthens the sphincter & prevents reflux)
So, it will be better to consult your Doctor/ Gastroenterologist. Investigation like Ultrasound scan of abdomen & Upper GI endoscopy will be helpful in clinching the diagnosis.
Wish you a good health. Take care.
