How To Get Rid Of Excessive Gas Build Up In Stomach?
I am a male age 74 . I am a heart patient( for 35 years). I work out 4 time weekly for an hour each and take medications for heart , blood pressure and cholesterol; all of which are normal. I have a regular annual physical exam with Cardiologist and internist. Just started noticeable embarrassment do to uncontrolled body gas in public places. I am 5'11"-200lbs-usually have a bowel movement after breakfast and then slow buildup of gas during day, Please advise possible problems. Thank you
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist. I understood your concern and I will advise you: 1. Avoid food that increase gas like beans, pulses, cabbage, peas 2. Avid food that increase acid productions like tea, coffee, citrus and spicy and fatty food 3. See if milk make your symptoms worse then please avoid it 4. Take capsule containing simethicone 5. Also take a proton pump inhibitor like rabeprazole along with a prokinetic agent like domepridone I hope I have answered you query. Wish you a good health
