How To Get Rid Of A Red And Itchy Insect Bite?

Last Saturday night by the pool, my upper left thigh started to itch and sting a bit. I thought something might have bitten me until it started to swell up and become kind of sore. It s a little red and I am not sure what it could have been or what I need to do. Something did sting my right foot right after it happened and it s a little red and itchy.

hi,
thank you for putting up your query on HCM.
as per your history, you have got an insect bite reaction.
my treatment advise would be:
1. take a course of antibiotic like tab azithromycin for 5 days.
2. take tab levocetrizine once a day and tab albendazole 400mg one tablet once.
3. apply calamine lotion twice a day over the sting area, but if erosion is there, you can apply neosporin ointment.
4. if it still persists, you may consult a doctor nearby.
thank you
