I have a bad sore throat. Started a few months ago as a dry irritated throat now just pain. There is a white thing looks like imbedded in my tonsil. Am taking pills for thrush for five days. No better. Hard to swallow and breathe. No fever but feel a little dizzy.
Tonsils have small holes in them called the crypts and this is where you get tonsil stones and in chronic tonsillitis the they do enlarge. Those are the white things you described.
If these stones appear recurrently and if you have recurrent infection then you must get it examined by an ENT and consider tonsillectomy which can cure the problem altogether.
If you are feeling just a little dizzy then you have nothing to worry about but if you are feeling worse and the symptoms worsen then you must definitely consult an ENT.
hope this helps
