Hi,
There are a number of types of reaction that may occur with anesthesia and it would be important to get this investigated. Allergy to anesthetic drugs is relatively rare. I suggest you contact your anesthesiologist to ask for more details regarding the reaction. If there is a thought that it may be an allergic reaction then I suggest you try another allergist as this information will be important if you have any future anesthetics.
