How To Fix Muffled Hearing?

I have issues with my ears all the time. It seems to mainly be my left ear that is muffled all the time. It feels like there is fluid or wax in it, but anytime a doctor looks, I am told I am fine and my ears look healthy. It causes me dizziness and causes me to feel off balance. I have had all other tests done for thyroid issues, diabetes, etc but my ear still will not unplug. I even try to Pop my ears and I can hear stuff moving but no doctor ever sees it as an issue. What can I do to alleviate the stuffiness in my ears??

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain muffled hearing along with dizziness and loss of balance can be due to causes like like Inner ear infection, Meniere's disease, Acoustic Neuroma,labyrinthitis, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo, severe motion sickness, Cervical spondylosis, Peripheral Vertigo etc..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray, MRI SCAN of ear and cervical column, blood tests etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised to wear neck support straps and continuation of medical therapy with Betahistine..
In case of infection antibiotics can be advised..
You can be advised therapies like Epley Maneuver..
Physiotherapy can be advised..
Vestibular rehabilitation can also be advised..
You should avoid intake of nicotine and alcohol..
Avoid sudden jerky neck movements and take sufficient rest..
