How To Cure The Condition Of Fistula?

I have been having constipation on and off since the last three months with irritation and bleeding sometimes. I consulted piles doctor (ayurvedic) and they suggested a month long treatment and said i have fistula. Which I felt uncomfortable. I started taking stool softner - Cremaffin and still using since three weeks. The stools were soft and my pain and bleeding too stopped. But still i continued to use stool softner and since yesterday i've noticed bright red blood in my stools. I am using hemorraid ointment also. Please let me know if this is serious and what to do?

My age is 38 and i'm 5 ft weight maybe around 64kg

Thanks for your question.
You need to get the diagnosis confirmed first. It sounds either haemorrhoids or anal fissures with your symptoms. If you have any history of Crohn's then could think about fistula. I would advise to get properly examined by a medical doctor before trying any further treatments.
In the meantime you can continue with stool softners, keep well hydrated, take more fibre diet and can apply Anusol cream if that helps.
