Hi,

As post fall it is always advised to take an X-ray as there may be some bony injury on a probable basis. Since you have not mentioned about the X-ray I will advice to take one. Also there will be muscle weakness which has occurred due to the fall.

Doing exercises for strengthening the hip muscles is advised. Doing on not only the injured side but also on the non injured site is advised. Continue the exercises for hip muscle for around 8-12 weeks of time by which the muscle on each side becomes balanced and improved.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
