How To Cure Rash And Itchiness Around Scrotum ?

I have a rash that has persisted on my scrotum and penis. it is red and blotchy like hives almost and itchy. I treated it for jock itch with otc fungal cremes and it reduces the swelling and itching but leaves a scaly skin around my penis. I also noticed the tip of my penis is bluish in color.. someone suggested a yeast infection but that seems unlikely without any sexual contact other than masturbation occasionally. I am not in my home town near a local doctor where i know i may receive assistance

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
I think you have taken the correct medicines , continue the anti-fungal cream. Apply twice daily for 3 weeks minimum. Stop using soaps in this area as they cause cause the rash to increase due to its irritant action.
Stop using tight underwear and pants. Whenever possible keep the area aerated. by using very loose clothing at your room.

Tip of the penis can appear blue if you are fair colored and this is normal id there is no rash or itching on it.
