How To Cure Pleural Effusions Due To Drug Therapy?

My husband has developed pleural effusions, because of drug therapy related to leukemia.
He had a thoracentesis done recently, and since then, I have noticed that when he talks there is a breathless

quality to his speech. Could this be due to fluid in the lungs as opposed to fluid on the lungs?

Hi
This is Ram,
Yes the effortful speech is due to the fluid in the lungs .
Please get a chest x-ray done to confirm if any effusion under the supervision of a doctor.
Thank You
