Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Niraj Modi's Response
Loss of taste sensation after stroke in my practice I have not heard a lot. I suggest you should check with your neuro and just see it should not be a side effect of the medicine what she is taking. Rest for grip and all I am sure you must have done physio therapy but you can continue for some more time. Here one more thing you need to understand after having stroke attack major one, there is no 100% recovery. It varies patient to patient and mainly depends on amount of damage in brain due to stroke. But mainly out aim use to be to make patient independent so that they can do their daily activity as well on top of this we try our best to recover maximum. But one most important thing I would like to say I have seen patient with stroke gets maxima. Improvement in 1year after the stroke and then the improvement is not so major it may come but very slow. Don't take tension just follow up with your neuro also once again and do as I advised here. Hope this was helpful for you. Take care
HI Well come to HCM Loss of test because of the stroke is very less likely and this could be due to oral infection and this need to be ruled out first if found like that then this need to be treated accordingly, if this is because of stroke then nothing much can be done, have a nice day.
