How To Cure Excruciating Pain In Head After Failed Root Canal Treatment?

Hello my wife have a pain which comes to her right side of her head and it is an excruciating pain that pain was there last year after a fail root canal by a dentist and ever since every morning she wake with the side of a face swollen and now she is experencing this pain which last for 4 houre

thanks for your query,
i have gone through your question, the pain and swelling is because of the secondary infection..
take a course of antibiotics like capsule amoxicillin 500mg trice daily, tablet metronidazole 400mg thrice daily for three days (unless the patient is not allergic to these drugs and not pregnant) and you can take a pain killer like diclofenac 50 mg twice daily...
the tooth has to be retreated if it is in proper condition for that you need to take a radiograph and consult a good endodontist..
