How To Cure Dizziness And Spinning Of Head?

When I get up in the night to drink water etc the room spun rapidly, I had to wait for it to stop to start walking. Once back in bed and laid my head on pillow, spun again. I was able to go to sleep but this morning did the same thing. Through the day was ok but laying down flat on my back to rest this evening put my head into a real spin. Had to get up quickly or I d be sick. Is this verdigo? And what do I do about it? And how long will it last?

Dix–Hallpike manoeuvre (posterior canal BPPV)
· Brief latency (1–5 seconds)
· Limited duration (
· Torsional nystagmus toward downmost ear

For treatment epley maneuver may be done by a neurologist or ENT doctor. Brandt-Daroff Exercises may be done with vertigo medications for few days .
