How To Cure IBS Permanently?

I am a 63 year old, female, with IBS, and a very sensitive bowel. I have had IBS since my early 20 s. Recently, on two occasions, 3 months apart, I had a very embarrassing bout of uncontrolled diarrhea. I am wondering if I have come to a new low in my IBS or if I have another issue. I had a colonoscopy 9 months ago that was just fine. I have only an instant to realize that I am going to evacuate and then it was too late those two times. As you can imagine, it is affecting my self confidence in going out and eating. Any ideas?

Hello,
I have gone through the details that you have provided
Currently there is no medication which can cure IBS permanantly.
I do understand your predicament and agree that diarrhoea can be a problem. I would suggest to add a fibre supplement along with probiotics to your diet as these would help with the diarrhoea. In case these do not help rifaximin could benefit . Please consult your doctor regarding a prescription
