How To Control Potassium Levels In Blood Despite Taking BP Medications?
Hi I will like to know what kind the diet should I use to help my body recently I was having high blood pressure so I start eating vegetables to help me lower that but then doctor prescribe me blood pressure pills and now I m having issues with my cholesterol and potassium in the blood so if I m already taking medicine for blood pressure and cholesterol should I be eating vegetables and food to help with that or it would be better to go back to eat a little be of everything? Please help me thsnks
I would recommend you to be very meticulous with the anti-hypertensive therapy that your doctor prescribed.
Regarding your diet, I would never suggest you to stop taking those vegetables and fruits, as they are the most healthy part of your diet (and also a good source of potassium and several vitamins, micro-elements and minerals, etc). But, your diet must be a balanced one.
I would suggest Mediterranean diet. You can check the web or consult a dietitian regarding that.
