How To Control Liver Functional Tests Despite Having Liver Cirrhosis?

I was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis 4 months ago due to alcohol. I just had my blood work done and my hepatic functions are still showing as high along with my blood clotting. How long does it take to get levels back down to normal? Could it take more than four months?

Dear patient
Liver cirrhosis means end stage of liver disease with complete fibrosis of liver and neat total loss of liver cells. For liver to perform it's normal function liver cells should be functioning. So your liver function tests cannot become normal with cirrhosis. It becomes normal only after liver replacement. So you need to consult liver transplant surgeon nearby you and get yourself examined. All the best.
