How To Control Extreme Aggressive Behavior?

My son in law who is 47 years old, in good health becomes so angry when his daughter does not get into a college VB game (she is freshman). He becomes so emotional that he swears the whites of his eyes turn red (pink).. I think he should quit watching or get tranquilizer.. He gets very emotional at a lot of athletic events. He blames the coach and not his daughter as she is actually an excellent player (won best VB player in souther part of the state of Idaho by vote of 10 out of 11) but she is now in college which she loves. Am I over reacting? thanks,

General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to hcm,
I really appreciate your concern,
I think its the nature of your son and law, he has a lot more expectations from his daughter which is quite normal in cases of most of parents.
I think he dont need a psychiatrist but help of psychologist can do wonders as he will counsell him fairly well on his behaviour.

Please let me know if you have any questions,
thanks.regards.
I find this answer helpful
