Assuming there is no physical or hormonal abnormality, you can get pregnant if you have had intercourse in your fertile period and spermatic fluid has entered the vagina. If you are unsure of dates or what may have happened, just wait for your period to come. In case it is delayed, you should do the home pregnancy test the week after your missed period date, and confirm if you have conceived. Do the test with morning sample of urine preferably. You can also do the test at your doctors clinic if you are unsure about testing at home. He/she may also suggest a pelvic ultrasound to see if pregnancy has occurred and check the weeks of gestation. If you are unsure about continuing the pregnancy, please speak to your doctor as the method to terminate will depend on how far you are in your pregnancy.
