How To Confirm If The Hymen Is Intact Or Not?
Hi. i ve had sex before over a year ago and have bleed because i what believed my hymen broke. after that i had no bleeding. i ve recently became sexually active again and the 2nd time i had sex i bled again and i ve had spotting and brown discharge since. this was 5 or 6 days ago. is this normal?

I understand your concern.
Hymen is a membranous tissue present inside the vagina, which is torn usually during intercourse for the first time. Most of them would experience bleeding during this time.
However, bleeding could happen even after first episode subsequently after having intercourse if there are few remnant tissue of hymen present.
In case you want to know the status, you need to undergo per vaginal examination, which would be done by Gynecologist.
