How To Confirm HIV Infection?

My male nail tech went to the bathroom before proceeding with my manicure. I believed he washed his hands because he came out wiping his hands on a towel. During the manicure a mosquito landed on his head and was there for a while. He eventually wiped it away but I am not sure if there was blood involved. A few hours after the manicure I was at home and masterbated (I am a female). Is there any risk for HIV exposure. I am pregnant and freaking out. Please help.

Thank you for query.if there is no contact of blood or secretions of other partner then there is no chance of HIV transmission.And HIV does not last long in the environment for hours.is really the partner infected with HIV is also question.If no no chance again.So allay fears of HIV.If still you have a doubt, I think already it is old for post exposure prophylaxis, so you can get tested for HIV PCR or P24 antigen days have passed after exposure.and by 4th generation ELISA if months have passed.Consult doctor for further investigation if needed.You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos and details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
