How To Bring Blood Pressure To Normal Level When It Gets Lower?

Q #1When you have low blood pressure normally , and it drops even lower ,like 86/44 pulse 59, what can you do yourself to help it raise it some ? Q#2 I have had an MRI confirming a bulging disc @ L5 / S1 with pinched nerves sciatic nerve for sure (over a month of pain down my left leg and foot. Now all across my buttocks and back. Traction at P.T. and learning correct posture helps for a short time. My bowel and bladder are affected and not improving. I feel like I need to go pee, but then trickles out a little, and I have to wait and strain, and it s a good 5 minutes, straining to get it out, and even then, it hasn t all emptied. The bowel is different where as I feel the urge, sometimes, I sit and sometimes I go a lot ,but I can t feel it, and doesn t all come out, so I can t tell if I m finished. I have a neurologist I have talked to but haven t told him this yet. What is happening ?I hope this won t be permanent Damage to certain nerves. Already have neuropathy in other places!

Hi welcome to HCM.
The sciatica in your case has to be operated to produce permanent relief from bowel and bladder disturbances.Nerve decompression techniques are usually needed.Drugs like darifenacin and solefenacin help to control urinary disturbances.Drugs like midodrine and fludrocortisone will help to elevate the blood pressure to normalcy.Daily intake of >6gm of salt along with 3-4 liters of water is recommended.Consult your neurosurgeon for further help.
Thank you
