How To Boost Delayed Milestone In Children?

My 2.5 yr old daugther is suffering from Delayed milestone. She is still not able to completely recognize her parents and doesn't respond if we call her name and avoids eye contact. Also she has not yet started to walk or talk. She does crawl but with her head down.
For the past couple of weeks we have started Physiotherapy for her and now she is able to sit (if made to) and able to balance herself in the sitting posture. Though i've been consulting several pediatricians and pediatic centers in and around Chennai, the only response i've been getting is she has got delayed milestone so she would take time to cope up with rest of the activities like walking and talking. But is wait the only answer to my daugther's current problem, is their any specific treatment that she can be given to boost her milestone?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for asking.
In my opinion waiting is not the answer. If such a child comes to my clinic, I would like to rule out autism and do a hearing assessment for her as she does not give eye contact or responds to her name.
I would suggest you to start her on occupational therapy where she will be given therapy for eye contact and responding to her name, social interaction. Also continue the physiotherapy. Later when she becomes more responsive you can start her speech therapy or picture exchange communication system.
I hope I have helped you.
Thank you.
