How To Analyze An Endo-vaginal Sonogram?
Hello, My question is directed to a gynecologist. I was done an endo-vaginal sonogram. My results were: uterus measures 6.66x4.53x3.87 cm, then it says it had a normal shape and retroverted position. Also that my endometrial thickness is 14 mm and that there are irregular nodular endometrial echoes. they give me the measurements of my ovaries and there are bilateral ovarian follicles. I want to know what does this mean.

1. The uterus measurements are with in limits - with features of the endometritis with thickened and nodular endometrium.
2.Thickend endometrium up to 14 mm amy be seen in the proliferative stage of the menstrual cycle.
3.Retroverted in one of the variant of lie of the uterus relation to the bladder.
4.Ovaries showing follicle is also a normal findings. Before they break and release egg cells.
5.In this case i scrap material from the endometrium for analysis will help to give appropriate treatment.
6.Ideally hormonal treatment would help initially. ( please mention your age in further query - to serve you better)
