How To Alleviate Numbness In The Hands?

My issue is I have acid reflex and Monday night I ate something that disagreed with me. I woke up and vomited with force that I believe I activated my cervical stenosis. I woke up this at 3:30 am with pain and severe numbness in my hands. For the past hour I have been trying to make the numbness go away. What should I do?

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your stomach upset and hand issue.

Because of night time sometimes too much pressure on your arm in sleep can cause transient numbness. You don't need to worry it will be over with time. In case it remains there for more than 3-4 hours, it may be of concern. You may consult a neurologist too.

Your stomach upset seems to me the duodenal ulcer. Hunger pain in morning between three to five is a silent feature of duodenal ulcer.
You need to take a course of pantoprazole 40 mg per day empty stomach in morning for a month or two. It will be beneficial to you.

Hope my answer will be helpful to you and you can write us back incase you need any further assistance.

Regards
Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
