How Should Contraceptive Pills Be Taken?

hey, am Tumi, I usually take my pills at 9pm, and forgot to take white pill(last row of white pills) on the 28th Aug and took it on the 29th Aug at 6am and take other pill at 9pm as usual. On the 2nd Sep night I have unprotected sex but still taking my white pills and took morning after pill together with red pill as i was on last row of red pills on the 5th Sep. am left with 3 red pills and still haven t seen my period. if not seen it till last pill, should I continue with new pack or go consult my doctor?

No need to worry for missed dose. You have done correctly by taking it at 6 am and then continued your 9 pm schedule. Yes, you should definitely consult your gynecologist if you misses your next period. All contraceptive measures including pills do have failure rates. Since you had unprotected intercourse, it is advisable to rule out pregnancy if you misses your next period. So avoid unprotected intercourse if you don't want to conceive and use condom.
