hi i am 23 years old..last summer 2009, when i visited my aunts house i was bitten by a dog (who gave birth within that week)...i was wearing a jogging pants so somehow its a thick cloth..but i felt that the dog bitten my butt..then i shouted for help..then i went to a bathroom and washed it with soap..but i haven't feel pain...then i ignore that incident because i thought nothing happened..but now that i heard a lot of news that dog bites are deadly i am nervous very nervous with regards to my case...i am in a dilemma if i was bitten or not..please help me

I understand your health concern, if I am your doctor I suggest you that if you are in observation of that dog kindly look over to them. If the dog is healthy in this period nothing more is required. But if the dog disappear s in this time there is urgent requirement of rabies vaccination. Even of you are anxious you can take rabies shot there is no ha in it.
