How Should Kenalog Be Given For Severe Poison Ivy?

I have a bottle of Kenalog @ home that I use for extreme cases of allergies. My wife has a very severe case of poison ivy right now. We called the ER and they told us that all they would do is give her a Kenalog shot. We do not have insurance so that would cost us more money than we can afford. My question is what would the correct dosage be for her if I were to use the Kenalog I have @ home ? she is 34 years old, 5" 7 and weighs around 170 lbs.

...We doctors don't recommend self medication without expert opinion but since you asked about it if i were a doctor attending your wife and to administer Kenalog,according to height weight and age , to her i would give her 50mg I/M shot ,with 80mg IV shot of Prednisolone,tapered over two weeks. This should control her issues.
