How Serious Could Nosebleed And Swelling Following A Nose Injury Indicate?

A few hours back, my three year-old son hit his nose hard on the coffee table. It started bleeding immediately and swelled up. Even now it is still seeping a little blood and it is swollen. Are their any concerns regarding this that I should be aware of? Should I take him to the ER this evening, or call his doctor in the morning?
