Hello, Thank you for posting on HCM. Acne, as you must be aware is pretty common condition caused chiefly due to hormonal influence and clogging of pores and followed by infection and inflammation. Benzoyl peroxide (Benzac AC) can cause irritation of skin leading to itchy rash and dryness. As of now stop applying all acne creams for one week. Apply good quality moisturizer like Cetaphil DAM twice a day for atleast one week. Avoid use of any soap/facewash and cosmetics for atleast one week. Restart your acne creams gradually after one week. Apply benzac Ac alternate nights in pea-size amount gently over face followed by facewash after one hour. Avoid junk food and cosmetics on face as far as possible and include plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Hope this will take care of your condition. Thank you Dr Hardik Pitroda
