How Safe Is The Green Light Laser Prostatecctomy For BPH?

How safe is the green light laser prostatecctomy for BPH? I am scheduled to have one done next week as an outpatient procedure in a hospital under spinal anesthesia and was curious about any major risk. As far as I know, my vitals are okay. I have severe bladder outlet obstruction, incontinence and some dilatation of ureters and renal pelvis (creatine and BUN are normal). Liver, cardiovascular, etc. are okay.

Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for query .You have been diagnosed to have Enlarged Prostate and planned for laser prostatectomy next week .

It is newer technique to resect the enlarged prostate using laser energy to resect (Burn) prostate .

It is very safe and causes least intra operative bleeding with fast recovery with minimum post operative complications .

Since your all health parameters are normal you need not worry at all and there is no major risk involved either during surgery or post operative period and will have smooth recovery .
