Hi Dr,My mother in law is addicted to multiple narcotic pain meds, anti seizure meds, xanex and migraine medication. she is in the hospital about to have gallbladder surgery tomorrow and the dr is unaware that she is abusing multiple medications. she also has difficulty breathing while she s asleep and wakes up gasping for air and my father in law has not mentioned this to the dr either. should she be going under any sort of anesthesia?
