How Much Time Does It To Heal An Open Wound Around Anus?

I underwent anal fistulectomy on 14th may.2015....it was an open wound and it has been gradually filling...the doc also has been satisfied with the recovery . The wound was almost 1 1/2 inches long and 1 inch deep. Now just 2-3 mm wound remains to be closed...does it take 3 or more months for the open wound to close up. I do not find any kind of abnormal discharge from the wound...but feel that the healing process is slow as it is nearing the anal ring. Pls advice

Don't worry if there is no abnormal pus discharge it means that the wound is healing. It will take two to three months to heal. You will get well soon.
