How Much Lovaza Be Taken In One Day?
I m 69 years old and been taking Lovaza (Omega 3) for about three years. Currently, I m taking 4 capsules a day per my doctors recommendation. I go a military hospital and I m retired. I haven t had any problems but would like to know is I m taking to much omega 3 per day. My doctor said my triglycerides was kind of high. I m also taking the following meds: Tricor 145 MG, Lisinopril 40 MG, Lipitor 10 MG, and Aspirin (Baby) 81 MG. I take one per day. I ve been taking the above meds for about 4 years. The daily dose of Lovaza is 4 grams per day. The daily dose may be taken as a single 4-gram dose (4 capsules) or as two 2-gram doses (2 capsules given twice daily). Patients should be advised to swallow Lovaza capsules whole.
