How Much Levolin Should Be Given For A Two Year Old Kid Through Nebulizer?

Hello Doctor,

My child (2 years old) is very prone to long breaths whenever he is having cold/cough.Nearest doctor has advised nebulization (Livolin) to him. We have bought a nebulizer, but unable to give him as we dont know how much ml Livolin we shuld give and what we should mix with it. We have a 0.31 mg Livolin which is 2.5 ml. Pls suggest.

Thanx,

Mamuly

hi,

Livolin is contraindicated in children below 4 years. So i will not advise you to use livolin respules. Difficulty in respiration is common in children during cold or cough. You can give him syp Asthalin 1tsf 2-3 times daily till the symptoms disappear. I assume that he is given antibiotic and anti-histamins for cold and cough.
