How Long Would It Take For The Skin To Stop Peeling After Sun Burn?

I got sunburn Monday ( it s now the Saturday after) and I started to peel on Thursday. I was just wondering how long it would take for the skin to stop peeling and for new skin to grow back as the same colour. I peeled on my forehead, and both shoulders. One shoulder is a medium strip ( about 6 inch) and the other one is very thick strip ( about 6 inch long too)

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.

Sunburn usually heals with exfoliation/peeling of dead skin. This is normal. This should usually subside in another 2-3 days, once it starts to peel.

Skin peeling sometimes can be discomforting if it is excessive and sometimes gives a feeling of tightness and encasement. In such a case I would suggest that you use a topical moderately potent topical steroid twice daily for 5 days.

regards
